Privacy Policy

What we collect
JointSpeech collects only what is necessary to provide real-time translation. This includes the audio you stream while using the app, which is processed live and immediately discarded — it is never stored on our servers. We do not collect names, contact information, or personal identifiers unless you voluntarily provide them (e.g., via a demo request email).
Audio and transcripts
Audio is streamed in real time to third-party speech recognition services (Deepgram) solely to produce a transcript. No audio recording is retained by JointSpeech. Transcripts generated during a session exist only in your browser and are cleared when you end the session or close the tab.
Translation
Text transcripts are sent to OpenAI's API for translation and AI assistance. These requests are subject to OpenAI's data usage policies. JointSpeech does not use your conversation content to train any model.
Voice synthesis
Text is sent to ElevenLabs to generate spoken audio. This is subject to ElevenLabs' privacy policy. JointSpeech does not store the audio output.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated page view data (e.g., number of visitors). No personal information or conversation content is included in analytics.
Cookies
JointSpeech does not use tracking cookies. Any browser storage used (e.g., localStorage) is used solely to save your in-app settings like language preferences and knowledge base notes, and never leaves your device.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above (Deepgram, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Vercel) strictly to operate the app.
Your rights
Because JointSpeech does not store personal data, there is generally nothing to delete or export. If you have questions or concerns about your data, contact us at hello@jointspeech.com and we will respond within 5 business days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of JointSpeech after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
